A New Sermon Series Please join us each Sunday morning, beginning April 7th, 2013, as we start a new sermon series entitled "Precepts From Proverbs". Making application of the Bible to our everyday lives is a challenge for every believer. Come join us as we begin a new series of sermons delving into the Proverbs, a very practical part of God's Word,and examining how we can significantly apply godly instruction to ourselves as we seek to 'live out' the Scriptures in everything we do.
We Are Moving! Well, after over two years at our current location, the Lord has us on the move again. We are really exicited about our new location and all the Lord has in store for us there! Please note beginning February 17th, 2013, we will be holding our services at our new location - 6921 Parkwood Dr. Olive Branch, MS (in the conference room inside the Comfort Suites Hotel). The times are all the same, but the location has changed as of this date. Again, we believe the Lord's hand is in this move and we look forward to what He will do!
T.I.T.U.S. Women CCC is excited to be offering a new ministry to the homeschooling community. It is called "T.I.T.U.S." (Teaching Inerrant Truth Using Scripture). This is a monthly Bible-based mother's group where homeschooling moms can come together and fellowship around God's Word. Each month we will address various aspects of Christian living and education. We hope this ministry offers homeschooling mother's both in our church and in our community a time to encouage and equip each other in their calling. Guest Speaker CCC is pleased and honored to have Dr. Gary Roper, D. D., D.B.A. come and preach for us December 23rd, 2012. He is a former pastor and educator. He served 25 years as pastor and as an educator has taught economics and Systematic Theology. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Memphis and at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee; Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and the International College of the Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman, British West Indies. As a preacher, he has preached in the famous Spurgeon's Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England. Please make plans to come worship with us. We'd love to see you there!
Christmas Gift Boxes Christ Covenant Church is hoping to partner with other local churches and Christians to provide Christmas gift boxes for those families right here in our own community who want to give their children something special this advent season but who simply lack the means to do so. Christmas is all about giving, and how God gave His Son to save us from our sins. Our vision for this project is to share the love of Jesus Christ with those around us, and as we give through tangible gifts, it will open the door for the spiritual gift of eternal life to be shared and given as well. Institute on The Constitution Have you ever heard the expression, “If you don't know where you came from how can you know where you're going?" Well, the same holds true for us as a country. National elections are just around the corner and these are very difficult and trying times in our land. With this in mind, Christ Covenant Church would like to invite you to an exciting, entertaining and informative series on the U.S. Constitution presented by The American View. In this brief 12 week course you will learn the Constitutional role of limited civil government compared to the over-sized federal bureaucracy we struggle under today. You will learn about the Biblical worldview of our Founding Fathers which informed the deliberate design and text of the U.S. Constitution. You will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of our nation's founding covenantal document and you will see that a radical shift has occurred in your country away from its historic beginnings. (The very recent upholding of "Obamacare" by SCOTUS is a perfect example!)
This presentation will conclude with a solid road map for the restoration of our God-given rights and the restoration of our Constitutional Republic. This 12 week DVD multi-media interactive course will be held at Christ Covenant Church 10469 College Road in Olive Branch, MS beginning Thursday Sept. 6th, 2012 and every following Thursday over 12 weeks. Every week from 6-7 pm you are invited to a FREE SUPPER for you and your entire family. The sessions will begin at 7 pm. Attendance is FREE. Invite others! This is a great educational opportunity for you, your family, concerned citizens, homeschool children or homeschool group, or anyone interested in learning American Constitutional history, kindling a true patriotic spirit, and what can be done to restore honor and integrity to our government. 1st & 3rd Fellowship Meals Following our morning services on the 1st and 3rd Lord's Day of each month, we will have a fellowship meal at the church. We hope this proves to be a time of welcoming our guests, sharing in our faith, and deepening the unity, love and communion with the Body of Christ. Silvercreek Living Center We are very pleased to annouce the Lord has provided a new ministry opportunity for CCC. Starting March 20th, 2011, we will begin conducting services at Silvercreek Living Center here in Olive Branch, MS. They have a beautiful facility and chapel. The worship service will begin at 2:00 PM each Sunday afternoon. We are excited to see the Lord work and at building a loving relationship with these people in the Lord.
